Our show steers are true crossbred calves, Speckle Park crossed to Angus dams or the other way around.  The calves achieve a level of hybrid vigor, which enable a good growth curve.  The steers are deep, long and wide-topped with excellent hind-quarters.  We feel these steers will make excellent finished projects, which is where the red ribbons really count.  The prospect heifers are easily considered some of the fanciest calves around.  They are thick, easy keeping females that make lifetime cows with excellent production and maternal skills.   We feel a show heifer should fit into the cow herd and raise quality calves for a long time after her show career is over.   Our prospects are docile and easy to work with, and very eye appealing with their unique color patterns.  When we select prospect calves for sale they have maximum eye appeal as well as the genetic ability to do their job for the clients, whether it be jackpot steer shows or female projects.
